| ESPN Protest Called For By Christian Anti-Defamation Commission |

The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission (CADC) is calling all those who oppose Christian bashing and a culture of corporate sponsored blasphemy to be part of a protest outside of ESPN's corporate headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut next Monday, February 11th at noon, across from the Mc Donald’s on West Street. This rally is in response to the gross mishandling of the incident where Dana Jacobson, the co-anchor of ESPN’s program, First Take, made the most inflammatory anti-Christian remarks. At an ESPN corporate sponsored event, honoring two of ESPN’s radio personalities, Jacobson said, “F--- Notre Dame, F--- touchdown Jesus, and F--- Jesus.” Jacobson was suspended for one week and is back on the air. “The hypocrisy and double standard are outrageous and unacceptable,” said Dr. Gary L. Cass, Chairman and CEO of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission. “If she had offended other racial or religious groups, Jews or Homosexuals, Jacobson would have been treated much more severely. The slap on the wrist ESPN gave Jacobson sends the message that offending Christians is not as serious as offending other groups.” CADC has uncovered additional evidence showing that ESPN has an unacceptable corporate culture where there is a pattern of sexual profanity and blasphemous speech.
