Homosexuals Defame Black Church for Exercising their Religious Liberty Print E-mail
Thursday, 25 June 2009 17:59

Manifested Glory Church, a non-denominational black church in Bridgeport, CT, have been under intense attacks by homosexual activists since the video of a young man being ministered to at the church appeared on the internet.

CADC wants to know where is the tolerance for a church who tried to help a young man who freely asked for help to overcome homosexual temptations? No church deserves to be maligned for trying to help a troubled teen who asked for prayer.

Why are homosexuals so outraged?

The controversy centers on the style of prayer involved that included an apparent exorcism of a young man who came to the church asking for help.  The church holds to the historic, biblical view that homosexual behavior is unnatural and sinful.  They prayed for homosexual demons to come out of the young man.*

Because the video is being so widely viewed on the internet, homosexual activists have viciously attacked the church. These are the same people who demand tolerance for their sexual sin. But they have no tolerance for Christians who are practicing their Constitutional religious liberty. As far as we know, this young man went to church on his own prerogative and left the church unharmed.

By contrast, we know that homosexuals are allowed to participate in vile Gay Pride Parades and perverted fetish festivals on public property throughout the country. These events often involve criminally lewd and lascivious conduct that take place in the presence of children, yet they go unpunished.

But when a church prays for a young man in accordance with their faith, there is so much pressure by homosexuals that the church has to take down their contact information from their website, and stop receiving phone calls and e-mails. The double standard is appalling. In one case, Christians are clearly exercising their constitutional religious liberty, and in the other, homosexuals are violating the law.

Robin McHaelin, executive director of True Colors, an advocacy group for gay youths even accused the church of murdering the soul of the young man. CADC would rather see a hurting young man getting help in church rather than living a sinful homosexual lifestyle that typically shortens a man’s life by decades and damns his soul for eternity.

This church is being maligned for a practice that goes all the way back to Christ and the Apostles. The New Testament records strange activity associated with demonic possession. The fact that the video of this episode may be strange or uncomfortable is not a reason to attack people who are sincerely trying to help a troubled young man.

TAKE ACTION:

CADC has come under fire for publically supporting this church and it's religious liberty. Pornographic phone calls by homosexual activists are pouring in from across the nation.

Pray for CADC and its staff.

Broadway Baptist Church of Fort Worth has been taken off the SBC listing as a
reliable church because they BBC, are including homosexuals in their
congregations. I think that this is part of the the MAJOR PLAN toward the
coming of the end told in the 24th chapter of Matthew. We, as Christians, need
to get on our knees and pray sincerely that God will keep us strong and safe
within the Christian community.
