President Obama has just signed a disastrous Hate Crime Bill that is an attack on your religious liberty. The Bill is political pay back to the radical homosexual activists who raised millions of dollars for his presidential campaign. 

This Bill is the latest evidence that we are in the midst of an unprecedented struggle for the soul of America. There has never been a time when Christians must stand and be counted more than now. Those who oppose Christ and our values are more aggressive than ever and are certainly showing no signs of backing down. 

The Hate Crimes Bill is a serious attack on religious liberty and freedom of speech. Soon, it will be against the law for ministers to tell the truth about homosexuality. 

How do we know? That is exactly what has happened in other countries with hate crime laws! 

A minister in Sweden, Ake Greene, was convicted of a hate crime and sentenced to a month in jail because of remarks he made in a sermon against homosexuality.   

A Christian grandmother in England wrote a letter to her city council expressing her opposition to a homosexual parade. Two police men turned up at her door and brow beat her for hours and warned her to watch her words or she would be arrested for a hate crime. 

A Canadian Priest, Father Alphonse DeValk, was investigated for perpetrating a hate crime because he quoted a Bible verse in a debate about homosexual marriage. A Christian Canadian print shop owner was convicted of discrimination and fined $5,000 when he refused to print materials for a homosexual advocacy group because it violated his religious convictions. 

In 2001, a Canadian provincial court ruled that publishing certain Bible verses critical of homosexuality was a hate crime after a man took out an advertisement in a local newspaper. Both the man and the newspaper were fined thousands of dollars.  

Eleven Christians in Philadelphia, including two grandmothers in their seventies, were arrested and charged with hate crimes for peacefully sharing the Gospel at a public homosexual event. They faced up to 47 years in jail and $90,000 in fines. 

In 2005, David Parker was arrested in Massachusetts because he demanded to see the principle of his first grader’s school. Without prior notification the teacher read his child’s class the story of King and King. It tells about two boys that fall in love and get married.  

Some of these cases have been thrown out on appeal, but the pattern is clear...

But how can we not share the Gospel?  It’s our duty as Christians to call men to repent and trust in Jesus Christ so they might be saved.  

Homosexual activists have hijacked the Congress in order to silence the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and President Obama is leading the charge. 

Obama has been very busy paying them back in other ways, too. He appointed a very radical homosexual activist, Kevin Jennings, to be the national public school “safe school czar.”  

Jennings founded an organization called GLSEN that starts homosexual “clubs” in public schools. Now he’s in charge of indoctrinating all public school children with pro-homosexual propaganda. 

Obama spoke at an event just a few weeks ago to raise money for HRC, a very powerful homosexual organization. He promised to reverse the Federal Defense of Marriage Act. That law prevents states from being forced to recognize homosexual marriages performed in other states.  

Obama also promised to allow homosexuals to serve openly in the armed forces even though our military leaders have advised him that it will be a disaster for the military. 

The Hate Crimes Bill may be intended to silence Christians, but CADC will not be silenced! 

I need your support to aggressively push back against this unconstitutional bill.   

The great advantage that we have as American’s over the rest of the world in the First Amendment to our Constitution. Hate laws are an abridgment of our First Amendment freedom of speech and free exercise of religion. We will aggressively fight for these liberties with every resource we have. 

CADC has put together a plan to directly challenge this unconstitutional law and this radical administration. 

On November 16^th, CADC, along with other pro-family leaders and ministers, will go to Washington DC for a Rally for Religious Freedom. It will occur immediately in front of the Department of Justice. 

Ministers, from various denominations, will preach the truth of the Word of God, especially the “politically incorrect” truth of the sin of homosexuality! We will challenge U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to charge this group of peacefully assembled clergy with a hate crime for simply preaching the Bible. 

We will clearly establishing that this law cannot and will not silence God’s servants. We will continue to declare the whole counsel of God both publicly and in our pulpits. If we are arrested, we challenge the law in court. 

This bold, public stand for Christ and freedom of speech will cost thousands of dollars. We need to pay for permits, rent a sound system and generators. We will need to send out press releases and get the word out to as many pro-family leaders and ministers as possible.  There will be travel expenses and we also need to cover our ongoing overhead.
