City Council Opens in PrayerAtheist groups campaign across America, bullying and intimidating small towns into religious silence out of fear of costly litigation.

Americans United for the Separation of Church and State brought a lawsuit against Greece, a small town in upstate New York, because they allowed their town council meetings to be opened with an invocation from local clergy. Americans United wanted to force the town to only allow prayers that they considered inclusive and ecumenical by their standards, and which did not mention Jesus. But the Supreme Court has previously ruled that opening a council meeting in prayer is Constitutional.

Thankfully Greece fought back and U.S. District Judge Charles Siragusa ruled in favor of the township.

One has to wonder at times why those groups like ACLU and Atheist groups don't
study up on the Constitution as for Church vs. State for they would be very
surprised to learn that America is founded on Faith and it is Faith vs. State
and not State vs. Faith - Thank God for those lawyers that go to bat for those
townships and etc! Pray for them daily!
