Loundoun Courthouse The war on Christmas has already started in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Last year county supervisors passed a resolution to allow religious displays, but the grounds committee in charge of the courthouse lawns threatened to only allow secular decorations.

Virginia’s Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, weighed in with an opinion that argued religious displays should be allowed as along as all faiths are afforded the same rights. Under the U.S. and Virginia constitutions religious decorations are allowed on government property.

We called on the Loudoun Board of Supervisors to override the decision and thankfully they voted in favor of allowing the religious displays to continue.

This is just the first of many fights that will occur this year over Christmas. Help us stand against secularization of Christmas and for the free exercise of our religion. Join our team, click here.
